Day 12: It's day 11

Did a tour of a few places straight after Fajr prayers. We visited Quba mosque which was originally built by the Prophet (pbuh). We also visited the 7 Mosques - literally 7 mosques very near to each other. These mosques stand on the sites of 7 tents that were placed by the Prophet's (pbuh) side during a war.

Finally we also visited Qibla Mosque, famous for the fact that, prayers in there used to be pointed towards Jerusalem until the order was given by God to pray towards Mecca (Ka'aba Sharif).

Got back to the hotel at 07:50 which shows you quite how early we set out.

Our driver and guide provided us with his false name which we should use should we be stopped by the police for a spot check. I'd never make a good spy because I kept forgetting the name. Luckily we didn't have to be tested and everything went smoothly.

All this air con is causing me to develop a cough. At least I think it's nothing more than a cough and not swine flu. That'd be funny, catching swine flu in a muslim country.

Anyhoo, it's time to go.
