One ring to rule them all and in the darkness bind them.

I bought a ring today, a very unassuming one. It's quite small and looks a little tired if anything. It doesn't stand out in any way but there's something very special about it. If it had a personality I'd say it's an introvert.

I first noticed it over two weeks ago and it's been playing on my mind since then. You wouldn't normally give this ring a second glance. Heck, you might even stick your nose up at it. However, to me It stood out from the rest. It did so because it didn't shine, it didn't sparkle and it wouldn't sit comfortably on the tray with all the other rings and instead sat a little askew.

It's not for me by the way, it's a woman's ring. It is however, my preciousss.
